Patna Zoo Rescue Team

The rescue team was constituted and started in Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna in 2015.

The objective of this team is to provide support to DFO’s and other departments to help them in rescuing strayed-out wild animals.

This team has a total of 5 persons including a monkey catcher, snake charmer, driver, veterinary doctor, and compounder who accompany the team during rescue operations.

So far Tiger, Monkey, Leopard, Bears, Snakes, and Birds have been rescued successfully.

Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park

The Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna was established as a Botanical Garden vide the Government of Bihar.
